Architecture & Technologies
The Free Joomla template is built with new web technologies: Bootstrap, Font awesome, LESS.
Response Service
MCW functions as your response service. No need for a commercial armed response provider. MCWT is PSIRA Registered. .
Alarm Monitoring
We do not sell, install or monitor alarms. Members do however receive preferential rates from several providers in the area.
Proactive
Milnerton Crime Watch is the only 24/7 proactive patrol in the Milnerton Central area. Our black and yellow cars are distinctive - please note that we do NOT use any other vehicles.
Contracted to you!
Milnerton Crime Watch contracts directly with the homeowners in the central area to ensure that we remain a members only service. This protects us and you and ensures that we hold the correct public liability cover in place.
Community run
20 years on the road and MCW is still run and actively managed by the community - for the community. YOU as a member are automatically a beneficiary of the community trust.
LPR
Milnerton Crime Watch is a firm supporter of Licence Plate Recognition technology and the user groups in our area. We take an active role in this and have camera placements of our own to protect our residents.
FAQs
Sample section descriptions
I can't find the emergency number?
The number for the MCWT patrol cars is ONLY available to members. Please note that this number is never shared on social media or whatsapp groups.
How do I join the MCW whatsapp group?
While we encourage street groups and neighbourly activity, we do not monitor or belong to any WA Groups. The patrolmen simply cannot patrol, keep eyes peeled and work on whatsapp groups at the same time.
What if the emergency number is engaged?
Our phones roam, the first call goes to the first vehicle. If it's not available it diverts to the second vehicles cellphone, then to the supervisor etc.
How do I join?
Please see the members area for joining info.
What is the area covered?
